The Greene Scale provides a brief measure of menopause symptoms. It can be used to assess changes in different symptoms, before and after menopause treatment. Three main areas are measured:

  • Psychological
  • Physical
  • Vasomotor

    Depression subscale (Q7–11): max 15

    Somatic subscale (Q12–18): max 21

    Vasomotor subscale (Q19–20): max 6

    Sexual dysfunction (Q21): max 3

    Total score range: 0–63
